Emergency Medicine Physician

Practice Info

• Nonprofit regional medical center and state-designated trauma center
• On-site Level III Trauma Center emergency department
• Annual ED visits: approximately 15,
• Daily volume: 38-45 patients per day
• Support staff includes APPs on during peak hours (12:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens clinical coverage at the emergency department
• Evaluate and manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions across all age groups
• Document clinical encounters using EPIC EMR

Shift & Schedule

• ASAP - Ongoing
• Day Shift;
  Night Shift
• Day shift: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Night shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• 12-hour shifts
• No call required

Qualifications

• Board certification required
• ABEM required; candidates holding FM/IM board certification with emergency department experience will also be considered
