Our team is currently looking for an Expeditor in Hastings, NE for one of our clients in the Manufacturing Industry.

Our team is seeking an individual with high energy and a drive for results to join our client as a site Expeditor within our Supply Chain department. They will be responsible for working with buyers, expediting suppliers, updating the system, issuing RFQs, maintaining KPI reports, issuing and monitoring purchase orders (POs) for C Class, MRO items and other general duties.

• Run daily reports, issuing open PO reports to suppliers
• Direct communication with US and foreign based suppliers for expediting/status updates
• Issue RFQs to support buyers as required
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly KPI reports
• Buy C-Class, MRO items as required to support buyers
• At all times comply with the client’s safety, integrity & ethics procedures/policies
• Compliance with supply chain policies & procedures

• Experience in purchasing roles
• Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment
• Basic data analysis skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness based on the needs of the business
• Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel
• BS or BA degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience

• Type: 12-month contract with possibility to convert to DH

  Part time - Flexible, up to 30 hours per week (needs to be between 7am‑5pm)
• Compensation: $20/hr.
