CNC Machine Operator 1st Shift
Location:
Hastings, NE Pay: $20.25 $ 24.25/hour (Starting pay based on experience) Build Your Career with an Employee-Owned Company Associated Staffing is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a respected manufacturing company in Hastings. Schedule1st Shift Monday Thursday: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM Overtime may be required on Fridays from 5:00 AM 1:00 PM
Job Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines to cut and shape die castings to customer specifications
- Read blueprints and follow programmed machining instructions
- Perform machining operations including turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming and countersinking
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, gauge pins and digital gauges
- Identify quality issues and ensure parts meet specifications
- Assist with machine setup adjustments as needed
- Learn print reading, equipment operation and quality procedures through on-the-job training
- Previous CNC machining experience is preferred
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Stable work history with good longevity
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
