Lab Assistant

Seasonal Lab Tech Job Description Advance Services is seeking a Seasonal Lab Tech for a company in Hastings.

• Test and prepare product samples according to established procedures.
• Label, number, and organize samples for accurate tracking and documentation.
• Organize products and samples by assigned numbers to ensure accurate identification and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory by washing beakers, jars, and other laboratory equipment.
• Clean countertops, workstations, and laboratory surfaces to ensure a sanitary work environment.
• Sweep laboratory floors and remove trash throughout the shift.
• Accurately record sample information and assist with maintaining laboratory records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other laboratory support duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning tasks.
• Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM. Flexible start and end times may be available depending on business needs.

Season:
This is a seasonal position that typically runs Mid October through early January, depending on workload and the harvest season.

Wage:
Starting at $18.00/hour (pay may vary depending on experience).
