Associated Staffing is hiring a dependable and customer-focused Store Clerk/Cashier in Hastings, NE! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service and keeping a busy retail environment running smoothly. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, including 2nd shift and every other weekend.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register, process transactions and accurately handle cash payments.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise and maintain inventory.
• Load and unload products and deliveries.
• Change beverage syrup containers (pop BIBs) and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Clean and maintain store areas, including restrooms, floors, beverage stations and service areas.
• Perform general housekeeping duties inside and outside the store.
• Assist with inventory counts and other assigned store duties.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and make change.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods, bending and performing physical tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work assigned shifts, including every other weekend.

Selected candidates must attend a required orientation in Hastings before beginning work. Orientation is typically held on Mondays and lasts approximately four hours. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process.
