Administration Support Team Leader
TSR Legal is looking for an experienced and motivated leader to oversee the Administrative Support and Post Room teams. This hands-on role involves maintaining high service standards, supporting colleagues, and ensuring all administrative and mail processes run smoothly and efficiently. The team leader will be the first point of contact for day-to-day operational issues, provide coaching and guidance to team members, and work closely with management to support team performance, morale, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the Administrative Support and Post Room teams, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Train, support, and mentor new and existing team members
- Act as the first point of escalation for workload, process, or performance issues
- Monitor workloads, allocate tasks and support project work where required
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews
- Identify training needs and support staff development
- Assist with recruitment activities, including advertising, interviews, and inductions
- Manage attendance, performance, and HR-related matters in line with company policies
- Ensure incoming and outgoing mail is handled securely and efficiently
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation
- Support wider business and management requests where required
- Promote company values, culture, and professional standards at all times
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- A reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
- Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Commitment to teamwork, equality, and diversity
- Previous experience within an administrative leadership or supervisory role
- Understanding of conveyancing processes and legal documentation
