Overview

Who we areReed in Partnership’s Employability Division helps individuals who are unemployed or facing challenges to find sustainable employment through tailored support, including one-to-one guidance, CV writing, interview preparation, and skills training.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of a caseload of long-term unemployed jobseekers, identify barriers, and create tailored action plans to progress them into employment.
- Provide personalised, one-to-one guidance including CV writing, interview preparation, and skills development.
- Meet and exceed performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with participants to shift their mindset and build confidence to find and sustain work.
- Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities.
- Signpost participants to internal and external stakeholders to address barriers such as health, housing, or financial challenges.
- Promote the Restart Scheme within the community and communicate its benefits and impact.
- Provide inclusive support and advice to people from all backgrounds.

- Ability to demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment (e.g., customer services, hospitality, social care, sales).
- Experience in a fast-paced, performance-target driven environment.
- Willingness to travel locally.
- Minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
- GCSE English Language at grade B or equivalent Level 2 qualification; or Level 2 Literacy; or International equivalents.
- Fluency in more than one language.
