Salary: £32,000 – £51,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified PE Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Rye
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE professional who is passionate about promoting physical health, teamwork, and student wellbeing.

• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy
• Promote participation in extracurricular sports and physical activities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and student engagement
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Previous teaching experience within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
