Are you a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September?

We are working with secondary schools throughout Hastings and the surrounding areas who require Music Teachers for day-to-day cover, regular supply and longer-term placements.

This is an opportunity to bring your subject expertise into a range of school environments while having the flexibility to choose the type of work that suits you.

The role

Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
Delivering practical and theory-based lessons
Teaching GCSE Music where required
Developing students' musical knowledge and confidence
Planning engaging lessons for longer-term placements
Supporting students with varying levels of experience
Managing classroom behaviour effectively

We are looking for:

QTS or relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching Music
Strong subject knowledge
A creative and engaging teaching style
Confidence managing practical activities
Good classroom management
Enthusiasm for developing students' musical abilities
