Residential Conveyancer

Job Overview

We’re working with a growing and well‑established law firm in Hastings that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join its expanding team.

Base pay range: £45,000-£65,000 (subject to experience).

• Managing 20-25 new residential conveyancing files per month
• Handling a varied caseload including residential sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, re‑mortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds (preferred but not essential)
• Supporting business development activity where required
• Full‑time hours: 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday, office‑based role in Hastings

• 3+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
• Able to run files independently from instruction to completion
• Strong communication and client‑care skills
• Comfortable working at pace in a busy conveyancing environment

• Salary £45,000-£65,000, dependent on experience
• Full‑time, permanent position
