Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable franchise dealership in Hastings, East Sussex. • Basic salary up to £40,000, with OTE reaching £52,000 dependent on experience

• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00/08:30 – 17:00, with no weekend work

• Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and systematic approaches
• Servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Liaising directly with customers to understand vehicle issues and explain necessary work
• Conducting road tests and quality checks post-repair
• Ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times within the workshop
• Completing all relevant documentation in line with brand and warranty requirements
• Maintaining workshop housekeeping standards and the use of personal tools
• Collaborating with colleagues and service advisors to deliver high standards of service

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive approach
• Organisational skills and time management abilities
• MOT licence preferred but not essential
• A positive attitude, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
