We are looking for a Team Leader to lead and develop their own departments, ensuring products are produced in accordance with company quality, health & safety, cost policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising the production process, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards
• Conduct pre-shift checks, including staff attendance, downtime, and material availability
• Lead meetings and discussions to ensure health and safety, quality, and production targets are met
• Conduct regular walk-throughs of the production line to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
• Manage staff absenteeism, return-to-work procedures, and maintain training records
• Assist with quality control checks, investigations, and audits
• Collaborate with other departments, including stock control, maintenance, and quality assurance
• Ensure compliance with environmental cleaning, EHS, and first aid procedures
• Develop and maintain training records for staff in training and existing staff
• Assist with projects, audits, and delegated tasks from the Team Manager

We’re looking for someone with:

• FMCG experience
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality checks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
