The following are the requested availability windows for scheduling:
- Sunday: 10:00:00 – 19:00:00
- Friday: 17:00:00 – 23:00:00
- Saturday: 14:00:00 – 23:00:00
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The availability windows indicate the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.

- Knowledge of customers and delivering friendly, confident service
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store
- Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required
- Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly
- Making decisions that are right for customers and meeting their needs
- Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to foster an inclusive atmosphere
- Understanding store performance and contributing to service and sales goals
- Handling products with care to maintain quality

- Occasionally, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store
