TITLE: Controller (Interim with Potential for Permanent Hire)

TYPE: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire, 6-Month Engagement

LOCATION: Hatboro, PA

ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: Hybrid with flexibility; on‑site five days per week to start

START DATE: ASAP

SHIFT: Standard business hours, with flexibility to meet deadlines

The Controller will step into a critical, hands‑on role supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations during a high‑demand period for the business. This individual will be responsible for stabilizing core finance functions, ensuring timely closes, and delivering accurate financial reporting for senior leadership. Timing and execution are essential, and this role requires someone who thrives in deadline‑driven environments.

This role operates in an accrual‑based accounting environment and requires a Controller who is comfortable owning the close process, maintaining clean financials, and providing reliable reporting. The Controller will work closely with finance and HR leadership and will play an immediate role in improving operational rigor, visibility, and financial reliability.

• Own daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, and general ledger activities
• Lead monthly close activities within an accrual accounting framework
• Reconcile P&L and balance sheet accounts with accuracy and timeliness
• Produce clear, timely financial reports to support leadership decision‑making
• Generate and maintain basic reporting to improve financial visibility and cadence
• Manage and review data exports and reporting from Epicor
• Identify gaps in processes, controls, or timelines and implement practical improvements
• Provide direct oversight and leadership to AR and AP staff
• Partner closely with finance leadership to improve execution, accountability, and workflow consistency

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership role
• Experience coming from a manufacturing and distribution environment is a strong plus
• Hands‑on experience working in an accrual‑based accounting environment
• Prior experience managing direct reports, including AR and AP functions
• Experience working within ERP systems;
  Epicor experience is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines with accuracy and consistency
• Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, high‑expectation environments
• Detail‑oriented, execution‑focused leader who can step in and deliver immediately
