A day in the role

You’ll start by reviewing your supervisor’s scheduled job list, then move seamlessly from setup to first-article verification across multiple cells. Expect to:

Program and run Kellenberger Kel‑Vista (3 machines) using conversational CNC controls and perform multi‑tool setups.

Switch to the Kellenberger Kel‑Vita for similar work when needed, tapping into its non‑round grinding capability.

Operate the Jones & Shipman CNC Grinder for between‑centers grinding with conversational programming.

Track job time precisely via clock‑in/clock‑out to maintain accurate labor reporting.

Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance technicians on critical inspections and dimensional checks.

Handle customer components with exceptional care to minimize scrap and rework.

Keep a relentless focus on quality and efficiency from first part to last.
