Overview

As the Learning & Development Coordinator, you will engage and liaise with employees and managers and work closely with internal and external training providers to ensure timely scheduling and delivery of workshops and briefings, including proactive monitoring and scheduling of training for employees with expiring certifications. You will utilise our competency management system, Skill Station, for the management of all training and ensure the proper capture of training records to demonstrate compliance.

This is a fixed-term contract (12 months).

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinate training across multiple locations, ensuring timely scheduling and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external training providers to arrange training sessions.
  • Send invitations, manage delegate lists, and handle the logistical aspects of training sessions.
  • Oversee purchase orders related to training activities.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date data is captured in the training systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of training materials.
  • Perform administrative duties related to training management.
  • Act as a point of contact for all departments, responding quickly to urgent training requests.
  • Support the identification of training needs across the business.
  • Collect and analyse training evaluation data.
  • Liaise with trainers to understand data requirements for their exercises.
  • Assist the data build team in ensuring accurate data input into Skill Station.
  • Provide data support to key stakeholders.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple work streams effectively.
Qualifications and skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to proactively address trainer and trainee needs.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently.

  • Experience using competency management or Learning Management Systems, particularly Skill Station.
  • Experience managing training records and compliance data.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyse training data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.

  • Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 depending on skills and experience.
