Life on the team

As an Apprentice Warehouse Operative, you’ll join our Logistics & Technical Services team – the part of our business that keeps technology moving to customers across the country.

You’ll be surrounded by people who’ll support you, encourage you, and help you grow. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll learn how a warehouse runs, gain real experience, and build skills that will set you up for future opportunities.

We welcome people from all backgrounds. What matters is your willingness to learn, get involved, and be part of a team where respect, inclusion, and continuous learning are central to how we work.

What You’ll Do

You’ll spend 80% of your time building practical skills and 20% working toward your Level 3 qualification.

During the Apprenticeship, you will rotate across key warehouse functions, gaining a broad understanding of our end‑to‑end processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking goods that arrive at the warehouse to ensure everything is correct.
  • Scanning products to support inbound and outbound logistics workflows.
  • Helping safely load and unload lorries.
  • Supporting the team with managing returned or unsuccessful deliveries.
  • Completing administrative tasks for our Inbound and Error Handling teams.
  • Training towards operating a Forklift Truck (FLT), once eligible.
What you’ll need
  • At least 2 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
  • An interest in learning about technology and warehouse operations.
  • Able to follow clear processes, stay organised, and manage your tasks independently.
  • Able to adapt to different tasks as needed.
  • Comfortable working with others and communicating clearly.
  • Detail‑oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • An understanding that what you do helps our customers receive the right products.
Important Eligibility Information

Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider. These checks include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold.

Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Business Level 3 qualification, A Level or business degree or equivalent to be eligible for this programme.
