SEN Teaching Assistant – Hatfield
Full-time | September start | Competitive daily rate
Protocol Education are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Hatfield.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every pupil access learning and thrive in the classroom.
The role includes:- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
- Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and social development
- Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
- Helping to create a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing
- Assisting with classroom activities and day-to-day learning
- Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting
- Is patient, empathetic and nurturing
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Can build positive relationships with pupils
- Is committed to inclusive education
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
