Position: Assistant Technical Retrofit Solutions Advisor Equans Job listing

Equans is looking for an Assistant Retrofit Technical Solutions Advisor to join our team.

This is a full-time role, based from the office with frequent travel to sites. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Support the delivery of Retrofit Coordination on live projects, ensuring compliance with PAS
    2035 standards and best practices.
  • Assist with quality assurance (QA) on Retrofit Assessments, Coordination, and Designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Carry out pre-, mid- and post-works inspections on site, reporting findings to lead Retrofit Coordinators and the wider team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners.
  • Verify project data, audit trails, and technical documentation to support compliance audits and funding applications.
  • Work with project managers and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into project plans while promoting sustainability best practice.
  • Proactively resolve technical challenges and contribute to project reviews, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
  • Keep up to date with industry innovations, policy changes, and funding schemes to ensure projects align with the latest standards.

Who are you?

  • Retrofit Coordinator Qualification (or working towards).
  • Knowledge of PAS
    2035 compliance, building regulations, and retrofit standards.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable collaborating with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites.
  • Retrofit Assessor Qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience with SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) or other sustainability initiatives.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency software, data analysis, and low-carbon technologies.
