Join our client, a leading player in the retail industry, where you will be at the forefront of crafting user experiences that transform how colleagues and suppliers engage with digital platforms. Your expertise will help shape intuitive, accessible designs that make a real impact!
What You'll Do:- Leading the end-to-end design process: discovery, user journey mapping, sketching, wire framing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Advocating for human-centred design across teams and the broader organisation.
- Collaborating within agile squads to enhance user experience across digital products.
- Conducting discovery sessions to understand user needs and validating designs through usability testing.
- Promoting inclusive design practises and ensuring accessibility in all your designs.
- Engaging with quantitative data to inform and refine your design decisions.
- Facilitating workshops and participatory design sessions to gather insights from business and user partners.
- Supporting and mentoring junior designers to foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in web, responsive, and native design.
- Experience in high-profile design projects, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Passion for user experience and a knack for solving product challenges.
- A solid understanding of the iterative design process, including research and user testing.
- Proficiency in interaction design for web and mobile applications, with a focus on accessibility (WCAG 2.1 level AA).
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
- A forward-thinking attitude, ready to embrace AI and its potential in UX design.
- Previous retail sector experience is a plus!
