Are you an experienced Microsoft engineer looking to work with the latest cloud, messaging and identity technologies?

We’re looking for a Microsoft 365 & Messaging Engineer to join our growing Consultancy & Engineering Practice at Computacenter.

You’ll work across a variety of customer environments, helping to design, deliver and support secure, resilient Microsoft solutions. From Microsoft 365 and Exchange to Azure and Entra , you’ll tackle complex technical challenges while contributing to cloud transformation and modernisation projects.

You’ll join a highly skilled team where you can share ideas, develop your expertise and continue learning as Microsoft technologies evolve.

• Support and optimise Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot complex messaging, mail flow and platform issues.
• Deliver mailbox migrations, tenant consolidations and modernisation projects.
• Manage email security and compliance across Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender, Purview, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Support identity services including Entra , Conditional Access, SSO and Entra Connect.
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure, networking, storage and compute services.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Power Shell, Azure CLI, Bicep or Terraform.
• Implement Azure monitoring, governance, security and access controls.
• Support CI/CD, containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provide third-line technical support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, security, infrastructure and application teams to deliver effective end-to-end solutions.

• Strong experience with Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises and Hybrid.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra .
• Experience with mail flow, SMTP routing, migrations and email security.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, retention, eDiscovery and compliance.
• Azure infrastructure experience across compute, storage, networking, monitoring and security.
• Automation skills using Power Shell, with experience of Microsoft Graph API, Azure CLI or Azure Automation beneficial.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Bicep, ARM or Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ideally 5+ years’ experience supporting enterprise technology platforms.

Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, alongside Azure Security, Networking, Architecture, Terraform, Dev Ops or ITIL certification, would be advantageous.
