Life on the team
Join Computacenter as a Privileged Access Management Analyst and help support the secure infrastructure and privileged access services that connect our teams to customer environments. This is an opportunity to build on a strong Microsoft infrastructure background, solve varied operational challenges and develop specialist knowledge across Cyber Ark and other key service platforms.
You’ll join our Customer Enablement team within Group Infrastructure Services, working alongside designers, builders and operational support analysts. Together, we manage the secure access platforms used by internal service and delivery teams to connect to customer environments, including Privileged Access Management, Cyber Ark, Citrix and MOVEit.
What you’ll do
- Provide operational support across Windows Server, VMware and associated infrastructure in central and customer environments.
- Complete health checks, patching, configuration changes, security controls and platform lifecycle activities.
- Investigate incidents methodically, identifying whether issues relate to an application, operating system, server or network.
- Develop your knowledge of Cyber Ark, Citrix and MOVEit, progressively taking ownership of day-to-day operational activities.
- Work within ITIL incident, problem and change processes, contributing to root-cause analysis and sustainable improvements.
- Maintain accurate runbooks, knowledge articles and operational records, ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with service teams, technical specialists and vendors, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency through scripting or automation.
What you’ll need
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server or Wintel infrastructure, together with Active Directory knowledge.
- Experience supporting virtualised infrastructure, ideally VMware vSphere or ESXi.
- Broad technical troubleshooting capability and enough networking awareness to identify connectivity-related issues.
- Experience in production, SLA-driven environments and a practical understanding of ITIL incident, problem and change management.
- An understanding of infrastructure security, including patching, access control, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
- Clear communication, accurate documentation and a calm, collaborative approach to resolving incidents.
- The ability and willingness to obtain SC clearance and participate in the on-call rota after training.
- Cyber Ark or wider PAM experience is highly desirable. Exposure to Linux, Citrix, MOVEit, Power Shell or Entra also be advantageous, although training will be provided.
- SC clearance needed or eligibility to pass
