Export Management Specialist

Location: UK

We’re looking for an Export Specialist to join our Export Management Team, supporting smooth and compliant international trade across five countries. Based in our Hatfield office, you’ll collaborate with sales leaders, trade compliance officers, and the Group Export Manager, contributing to high‑impact business outcomes.

What you’ll do

This opportunity provides hands‑on experience with training and development support for a career in global trade and IT logistics.

  • Conduct analysis of Bills of Materials for large‑scale AI deployments to determine export compliance requirements, including Export Licences and Re‑export Licence Exceptions for U.S. origin products.
  • Communicate daily and lead meetings with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage queries relating to exports, imports, and trade compliance.
  • Create and analyze regular and ad‑hoc reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce compliance risks.
  • Own and manage the export tool system.
  • Review and implement new compliance requirements from trade compliance and customs authorities.
  • Work closely with the Group Export Manager, covering key tasks as needed.
  • Produce workflows and documentation for new process improvements.
What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in an Export and Compliance Department, ideally with a degree in Logistics and experience with Export Compliance Topics.
  • Expert knowledge of UK, EU and U.S. regulations related to Product Classification – Commodity Codes and Export Control Numbers for UK, EU and U.S.
  • Strong interest in global trade, compliance and IT logistics.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
