Zero-hours contract (with the potential to move to a 20-hour contract depending on mutual agreement), working across a 7 day a week operation. Weekend work is essential.

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Barista to join our busy, successful catering team at Hatfield House on a flexible, zero-hour basis. As a member of the front of house team, you will be part of a hard-working, friendly group who all have the same goal - to deliver exceptional customer service to our visitors.

This role requires you to be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, providing a friendly and welcoming service to all café visitors, operating the till, clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling cash and supporting stock control processes.

Shifts will vary between Monday and Sunday, usually over 4-5 days per week. Daytime hours; however, weekend work is required. This is a flexible zero-hour role, so hours will vary depending on the needs of the business, on a weekly basis.

• Have previous experience working as a Barista or a Café Waiter
• Have a passion for delivering outstanding service, greeting customers with a smile and serving coffee and other beverages with pride
• Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our visitors
• Be an excellent team player with great communication skills
• Have a desire to succeed in your role and a love of coffee culture
• Possess the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
• Have a safety-first mindset
