Scheme ManagerHatfieldFixed Term - 3 MonthsFull Time£24,510SummaryAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and organised Scheme Manager to support residents within a home ownership scheme in Hatfield, promoting independence, wellbeing and the delivery of high-quality, safe and value-for-money housing services.THE ROLEAs a Scheme Manager, you will be the main point of contact for residents, delivering day-to-day support and ensuring schemes are safe, well-managed and compliant with all relevant standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for residents, providing information, advice and support to promote independent living
  • Assess individual resident needs and prepare, implement and review tailored support plans
  • Liaise with families, carers and external agencies to ensure holistic support is in place
  • Coordinate local services to ensure schemes are clean, secure and well maintained
  • Monitor contractor performance and take appropriate action where standards are not met
  • Carry out health & safety checks, risk assessments and scheme inspections
  • Support local housing teams with administrative duties, resales, income recovery and resident consultation
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar scheme-based or housing support role, with a strong understanding of supporting older or vulnerable residents.
  • Experience supporting older people or residents with varying support needs
  • Knowledge of housing management, resident involvement and community care practices
  • Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Competent in using IT systems, including basic Microsoft Word, Excel and housing databases
THE CONTRACTWorking Hours: 37 hours per week, full timeLength of Contract: 3 Month Fixed-Term ContractRate: £24,510 per year, plus benefits
