Night Support Worker Vacancy A reputable housing charity is currently recruiting for a Night Support Worker in the Hertfordshire area. This would be a temporary to permanent contract and you’ll be required to work 42 hours per week. Length: 3 months Temporary to permanent

Hours:

48 hours a week, Night shifts - 8:30pm - 8:45am on a 4 on 4 off basis

Location:

Hatfield or Welwyn Garden City Pay: £15 per hour (PAYE inclusive of holiday pay) The role involves:
Providing a night concierge service to residents and visitors within a homeless hostel Controlling access to the building Monitoring CCTV systems to identify any possible incidents Undertaking frequent and regular patrols of the building and monitoring any anti-social behaviour Dealing with health and safety issues Acting as a fire warden in the event of a fire alarm being triggered Contacting the "on call" manager in the event of an emergency or serious incident Being compassionate and caring in the event a resident is feeling vulnerable Dealing with mental health crisis that may arise

Additional requirements:

Experience in a similar position working night shifts UK Drivers License An enhanced DBS ideally from within three years or willingness to obtain one Experience working with vulnerable clients If this opportunity is of interest, please apply with your up-to-date CV.
