HGV Class 1Driver

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Our well established client, based in Hatfield, requires Category C & E (HGV Class 1 Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution to stores. AM and PM shifts and weekend work available on set shift patterns. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site. Minimum HGV driving experience required 3 months.

HGV Class 1 Driver Main duties will include:

Delivery of caged goods to Stores or Distribution Centres
Making sure your load is safe and all vehicle and trailer checks are completed
Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store
Between 1-4 drops per day depending on location HGV Class 1 Driver

Shifts:

Various AM shifts start times between 04:00am and 12:00pm
Various PM shifts start times between 13:00 to midnight
Shift patterns - Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

Monday to Sunday AM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £20.95 per hour
AM Overtime after 8 hours per day £31.42 per hour
Monday to Sunday PM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £22.50 per hour
