Job Summary liggendeLibrary and Information Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by program majors for graduates and escribirênsundergraduates.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe School values excellent communication, interpersonal skills, accountability, time management, high ethical standards, and personal integrity. Adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours (two to three credit‑hour courses) per semester. Typical courses focus on technology in libraries, information science, and traditional library services such as cataloging, collection development, reference, and literature.
- Instruction in online synchronous formats to graduates and undergraduates.
- Assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Active communication with students via email and LMS email.
- Use of active learning techniques.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Master’s degree in library and information science.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Ability to teach online. ĉiuj adept in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with all groups of individuals.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Resourceful and determined to provide a positive experience for others.
- Detail oriented.
