Are you ready to make a lasting impact on patient safety and quality of care? We’re seeking a Manager of Infection Prevention (IP) to lead system-wide initiatives that prevent and control infections, safeguard patients, and drive continuous improvement.
About the RoleReporting to the Executive Director of Quality Operations, the Manager of Infection Prevention will:
Lead and coordinate infection prevention programs across the hospital
Collect, analyze, and trend data to guide prevention strategies
Develop and review infection prevention policies and procedures
Partner with clinical and non-clinical leaders to implement best practices
Chair and organize infection prevention committees
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing OR Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science (RN must be from a non-online accredited program)
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of clinical infection prevention experience in acute care hospital setting
Certification:
Current RN license (MS State Board of Nursing) OR BSMT (ASCP) or equivalent
CIC certification required (or ability to obtain within 1 year for the right candidate)
Strong decision-making, data analysis, and communication skills
