Responsibilities include:

  • Administer employee benefit programs and act as liaison with insurance providers regarding coverage and changes.
  • Coordinate insurance enrollment activities and process employee information with the Human Resources department.
  • Assist newly hired employees with benefits explanation and enrollment.
  • Maintain forms, documents, and distribute as needed.
  • Enter benefit and deduction data into payroll systems and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Manage garnishments, reconcile billing, and process premiums.
  • Handle weekly time and leave records, and other payroll-related duties.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist with payroll data entry and clerical needs.
  • Support auditors and suggest payroll process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating punctuality and alignment with district mission and strategic plan.
  • Qualifications:

    • High School diploma (Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred).
    • Understanding of payroll laws, policies, and practices.
    • Accurate mathematical skills, organizational ability, and proficiency with office and spreadsheet software.
    • Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
    • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and multitask effectively.
