About the PracticeTown and Country Animal Hospital, founded on November 1st, 1989, specializes in companion and exotic medicine. Located in Hattiesburg, a city with a small-town feel, many of our clients are our friends and neighbors.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.
Externships typically last 2 weeks, and Heartland will cover lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Must be able to provide student PLIT.
