HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure the optimal operation of our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team's seamless operations.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
• Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues

• Refrigeration:
  Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines
• Cooking Equipment:
  Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets
• Ventilation & HVAC:
  Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems
• Dishwashing & Sanitation:
  High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems

Position based in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance provided. Madison is known for its vibrant community, tech growth, and quality of life, making it an excellent place to live and work.

Qualifications include:

• CFC Universal Certification
• EPA 608 certification
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment service and repair, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and gas-fired equipment
