IEC Tech

Resinall Corp, an Ergon company, currently has an opening for an IEC Tech I in our Hattiesburg, Mississippi location. This position will be 8-hour shifts; 7:00am-3:30pm; M-F and will answer to the Maintenance Manager.

This is a support position to the Maintenance Department. The IE Tech I provides support for the repair, installation, and calibration of plant instrumentation and electrical equipment.

This requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Strong communication skills are recommended. A valid driver's license must be maintained. Basic computer skills are required. Must have successfully completed and passed a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE). Requires an ACT Work Keys National Career Readiness Certificate of Silver or higher.

• Assist in repair and maintenance of steam systems
• Assist in installation of conduit and wiring
• Assist in installation and maintenance of instrument tubing
• Assist in troubleshooting and repair of control valves, regulators, heater control panels, motor controls, transmitters and other IE related equipment
• Assist in the wiring of electric motors and other IE related equipment
• Assist with implementation, programming and maintenance of microprocessor controllers, programmable logic controllers and combustion controllers
• Complete preventive work orders on IE related equipment and properly document all service and repairs while striving to continually improve the preventive maintenance program
• Use digital multimeter to check AC voltage, DC voltage, AC current, DC current and resistance.
• Assist with testing, repairing, removing, installing DP cells
• Provide assistance for various tasks throughout the plant as needed and directed by the Maintenance Manager
• Available for call-out when assistance is needed
• Complete CMMS work orders accurately
