OverviewThe Program Manager IV manages the overall execution of the project and coordination of the project team by communicating with stakeholders, managing project reporting on deliverables, supporting project delivery and aligning with the company’s overall goals. The ideal candidate is someone who has transitioned their career from a technical field such as engineering to program management.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer the project risk management process and prepare risk management plans
- Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects
- Assess, plan, and engage project resources as needed throughout the life of the project
- Communicate the project plan, including objectives and responsibilities, to the project team
- Communicate with the customers and the project team, and conduct project meetings
- Drive project delivery and ensure excellence in project deliverables
- Maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and current
- Manage and oversee all aspects of customer service including scheduling
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong background in engineering or other technical field, preferably 5+ years
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience combined between program management and a technical field
- Extensive experience in NPI programs
- Preferred candidate has in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred candidate has experience in an engineering leadership role
- Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $127,457 - $159,321 annually
. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
