In the State of NY this position pays between $16/hr and $20/hr depending on related experience and location.
Overview and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a dedicated specialist to follow up on documents previously requested from physicians on behalf of our customers. The representative communicates with physician staff and customers to obtain requested documentation.
EssentialJob Duties
- Answer emails within a timely manner
- Check work for accuracy
- Communicate with physician’s staff and customers to obtain requested documentation
- Maintain fax server
- Maintain follow up prescription requests
- Meet daily quotas
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Background investigation (company-wide)
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
Education and Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- One year of related work experience
- Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Multi-task with attention to detail
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Lift and carry office equipment at times around the office
- Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
