Job DefinitionProvide administrative supervision to a dynamic team of professional and paraprofessional residential staff delivering counseling services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Ensure the overall functioning of the program aligns with agency policies and procedures and complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Educational Requirements- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Human Services.
- Five years of supervisory experience in a mental health‑related field.
- Knowledge of the needs of the MICA/SMI population.
- Experience managing Office of Mental Health Facilities, including property and fiscal management.
- Familiarity with community mental health supports.
- Maintain program operations in compliance with regulations and agency policies.
- Oversee admission of residents and ensure adequate services.
- Provide supervision to program staff and managers.
- Develop client programs and quality assurance processes.
- Manage budget, regulatory, funding, and governing‑body requirements.
- Supervise property acquisition, leasing, and management.
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff; establish staffing patterns.
- Ensure continuous training and structured supervision for all staff.
- Ensure clients receive services appropriate to their needs.
- Implement program policies and procedures in partnership with the Vice President and Quality Assurance.
- Monitor all client records for timeliness and compliance with regulations.
- Provide support to staff during crisis situations and ensure timely incident reporting.
- Work with the Manager of Quality Assurance and Vice President to meet or exceed QA standards.
- Represent the agency at community meetings and functions.
- Oversee the Facilities Team to ensure all agency sites are safe and meet residents’ and staff’s needs.
- Track task completion across agency sites.
- Identify and implement quality‑improvement training and activities for professional development.
- Promote an inclusive culture that respects individual strengths, views, and experiences.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
