Job Title: Buyer
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full procurement cycle: RFQs, POs, order tracking, expediting, and inventory control.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Resolve shipment and quality issues; ensure on-time material availability.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field.
- Experience with aviation or manufacturing procurement preferred.
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and MRP/ERP system skills.
