OverviewThe Machinist III produces precision parts using machine tools and equipment. This involves measuring work pieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections.
Responsibilities- Estimate dimensions of work pieces, products, or equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations
- Program more complex parts to be machined
- Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions
- Assist with design of basic manufacturing fixtures
- Minimum of three (3) years machining experience.
- CNC Programming experience.
- Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $27.74 - $33.99 hourly
. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
