A local accountancy practice specialising in a variety of client sectors is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a temporary position based in Cowplain. • Managing day‑to‑day bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial records
• Assisting with VAT returns, CIS, and payroll processing, helping the team maintain compliance and meet client deadlines
• Supporting month‑end and quarter‑end processes, contributing to financial reporting accuracy
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to enhance efficiency and ensure smooth financial workflows
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures within the practice

• Demonstrates solid experience with bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS procedures, ideally within a multi‑client environment
• Possesses strong attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced practice setting
• Has good communication skills, able to liaise with clients and team members confidently
• Shows a proactive approach to problem‑solving and process optimisation
