will the role involve?
- Preparing financial statements and management accounts for a broad range of clients
- Supporting tax compliance activities and assisting with calculations and submissions
- Managing bookkeeping assignments using cloud-based software including Xero, Quick Books and Free Agent
- Building strong client relationships and providing practical support on day-to-day accounting matters
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service while supporting the continued growth of the practice
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment, including bookkeeping, accounts preparation and tax work
- Confident using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books or Free Agent
- Able to work independently whilst managing deadlines and priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused and professional approach
- Positive, proactive and keen to contribute to a supportive team culture
- Flexible working hours to help support work-life balance
- Choice of full-time or part‑time working (min three days per week), with hybrid working available
