We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Southampton, Hampshire, for the position of Service Technician. - Perform vehicle repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently
- Carry out MOT repairs and assessments
- Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts, and other mechanical components
- Assist with fast-fit services, including wheel alignments and tyre fitting
- Complete accurate repair records and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Advise customers on vehicle maintenance needs and future repairs
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with current technologies
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good team player with excellent customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with diagnostic equipment is highly desirable
