The Role
Were looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join AIM in Emsworth. Youll play a key role in managing project costs reducing risk and delivering value across a range of construction projects from tender stage through to final accounts.
What Youll Be Doing
- Preparing cost estimates tenders and bills of quantities
- Analysing project documentation and supplier/subcontractor proposals
- Managing project costs budgets and cashflow
- Carrying out risk management and value engineering
- Supporting procurement strategy and project delivery
- Managing valuations and subcontractor applications
- Producing CVRs forecasts and financial reports
- Preparing final accounts
- Supporting pre-construction and tender submissions
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety awareness
What Were Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or equivalent experience)
- Previous QS or similar experience
- Strong estimating and cost control knowledge
- Good understanding of construction methods materials and regulations
- Strong communication analytical and negotiation skills
