Graphics & Digital Media Teacher - Sixth Form College in Southampton

Pay: £175 - £260 per day (dependent on experience)

Position Overview

A highly regarded sixth form college in Southampton is seeking aGraphics & Digital Media Teacher to join their creative faculty on a part-time basis as soon as possible.

This long-term opportunity will involve teaching A-Level and Level 3 Digital Media/Graphics-related courses for approximately 18 hours per week. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons that develop their creative, digital and visual communication skills while preparing them for further study and careers within the creative industries.

The role is expected to continue until at least December, with the possibility of being extended beyond this point.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant post-16 teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Digital Media, Graphics, Media Studies or related creative subjects
  • Strong knowledge of creative industry practices and digital technologies
  • Experience delivering Level 3 or A-Level qualifications is desirable
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for developing students' creative abilities and career aspirations
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
