  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns across a wide range of plant equipment, assessing faults and taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Investigate plant failures and coordinate or carry out prompt, efficient repairs to minimise operational disruptions, including collaborating with others to resolve complex faults.
  • Monitor external activities near operational sites that may impact the integrity of water sources.
  • Perform routine maintenance on production assets to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Act as an escalation point for plant and equipment defects, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Initiate and oversee service contract work, verifying the scope and quality of completed tasks.
  • Support effective material usage and demonstrate awareness of budgetary considerations.
  • Collaborate with Investment and Non‑Infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery of capital projects.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to technicians and apprentices, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance with procedures, while offering input on non‑routine activities and technical changes.
