Position: Deputy Care Manager (Permanent)
Children with Learning Difficulties

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Senior or Deputy Manager to join a leading provider of care and education for children with learning difficulties. You’ll join a passionate, well-established team committed to creating inclusive environments where every child is supported to grow, thrive, and achieve their full potential.

Role Overview

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and development of the service. Working closely with the Manager, you’ll help shape strategy, ensure high-quality personalised support for each child, and lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care and educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Manager in overseeing all aspects of service delivery and development

* Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards

* Work in partnership with families, schools, and external professionals

* Monitor, review, and adapt interventions to ensure positive outcomes for children

* Maintain compliance with legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements

* Contribute to budget management, resource planning, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

* Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People or Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

* Experience supporting children with learning difficulties

* Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and intervention approaches

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice

* Confidence working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
