Cloud Platform Engineer - 6 Months - £650 per day inside IR35 - Hybrid - Portsmouth Area Office

We're looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer to support and enhance a core cloud platform within a fast-paced, enterprise IT environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects across multiple cloud services while playing a key part in a wider transformation programme, including changes to IT operations and service delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to continuous improvement across platform, delivery, and operational practices.
Help reduce operational risk across the core cloud platform.
Support demand planning and delivery by working closely with product owners and stakeholders.
Provide guidance and best practice to application teams adopting cloud platforms.
Assist in maintaining operational commitments, including managing support tickets and resolving issues.

Skills & Experience

Experience with AWS or Azure and cloud-native architectures
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC);
Terraform experience is beneficial
Experience with building and hardening Windows and RHEL Golden Images
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with understanding of operational support processes
