Junior Buyer

Amour Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Junior Buyer, to join our long standing clients expanding team in Havant.

In this new role, you'll support the procurement function, in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

This role fits between multiple departments, and you'll act as a crucial team member ensuring that manufacturing teams have ample supply of materials/components.

You'll work with the support of dedicated experienced buyers, building your confidence and developing skills.

Responsibilities:

* Placing and managing orders, monitoring supply and delivery schedules.

* Develop and maintain working relationships with core suppliers.

* Ensure accurate documentation, to ensure clear requirements, and reduce risk of discrepancy.

* Collaborate and communicate cross departmentally, to maintain clear communication channels.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in buying or procurement, ideally within manufacturing.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Excellent communication, both internally and externally.

* Experience across MRP/ERP systems is desirable.

* Experience in planning, scheduling and delivery tracking is desirable.

Hours:

8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 Depending on Experience
