Infinity Employment are seeking a dedicated Powder Coater to join a leading manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal components, fire and safety equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in manufacturing and finishing processes.

The Powder Coater will work within a dynamic environment, supporting the production of durable and aesthetically appealing products.

  • 12 Week Temp
    - Perm opportunity
  • Shift pattern applies:
    Mon
    - Thurs 07:30 - 16:15
  • Fri - 07:30 - 12:15pm
  • After probation period:
    Mon
    - Thurs 09:30am - 18:00pm
  • Fridays- 09:30
    -2pm.
  • Salary £27500 per year depending on experience plus overtime when available
Responsibilities
  • Preparing surfaces and applying powder coatings to a variety of metal products
  • The use of a powder coating gun, coating a range of products according to required specification
  • Pre-treatment of products and inspection to the specified standards
  • Jigging up products
  • Carry out maintenance of the spray guns and booths according to instruction, including basic maintenance of machines and tools
  • Operating and maintaining powder coating equipment
  • Pre-treatment of product through a manual process
  • Ensuring high standards of quality and finish
  • Working efficiently to meet production deadline
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills
  • Previous experience in powder coating
  • Experience with hand tools, drills
  • Use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Flexible regarding overtime if required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of coating techniques and material
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
