Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Control Technician will provide quality support to manufacturing and logistics areas,conduct inspections to control, monitor and maintain defined quality standards to meet the requirements of our customers.
You will ensure all product inspection and release is completed in conjunction with written inspection criteria’s.
Maintain quality control documentation to ensure product traceability and ISO
9001:2015 compliance is achieved.
Report quality concerns and delays to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Inspect and verify Works Order documentation
Identify quality concerns and assist with non-conformance investigations including root cause analysis where advised by your Supervisor or Manager.
Youwill be required to liaise with department supervisors and managers toensure quality products are produced and standards maintained.
Perform testing on moulded component First Off’s and other products as and when needed.
Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
Participate in department audits.
Monitor production output to identify and prioritise changes in personal workload.
Using process and product knowledge you will provide coaching for staff regarding product quality and company compliance.
Youwill assist in environmental monitoring - Bioburden Testing - within thecleanrooms
Recordand maintain daily quality performance data
Assist when required in internal and external ISO and customer audits.
Inspect and release controlled raw material(Logistics).

Skills / Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of quality standards within manufacturing.
  • Understanding of the ISO
    9001:2015 quality standard.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively at all levels.
  • Prepared to work long periods within an ISO class 7 cleanroom.
  • Able to follow written process instructions.
  • Pro-active self-starter, capable of multitasking and working on own initiative
  • Proficient IT skills and experience of ERP systems.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
