Bennett & Game are representing a specialist scaffolding supplies business who are seeking a Yard Manager to join their growing team. The successful Yard Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the yard, supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries, maintaining stock levels and ensuring the yard remains organised and operates efficiently. The role will involve regular use of a forklift and some physical activity when required.

• Salary of £30,000 - £40,000

• Take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running and organisation of the yard
• Load and unload deliveries and collections using a forklift
• Monitor and maintain stock levels across the yard
• Ensure materials are stored safely and the yard remains tidy and organised
• Support the preparation of scaffolding materials and other supplies for customer collections and deliveries
• Oversee and support yard operatives when required

• Must hold a valid forklift licence
• Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or similar environment
• Experience in a yard management or supervisory position would be beneficial
• Previous experience within scaffolding, construction supplies, builders' merchants or a similar industry would be advantageous
• Good understanding of stock control and general yard operations
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
